TEDxBreda is also well capable of ‘pitching’ ;)

Wednesday the 31th of January our partner Gimbrère Breda (Facebook: @gimbrere.advocaten) organised another of their own ‘pitch nights’, named: “Pitching on stage: The way to succes” in the intimicy of their own little theater.

This night, Jaap Korteweg (chosen as EY Emerging Entrepeneur of the Year) of De Vegetarische Slager gave an inspiring presentation about his ideals and his company. In cooperation with Lead2Deal , young entrepeneurs got the opportunity to pitch their company on stage.

TEDxBreda is allowed to use this atmospheric theater for a variety of our activities (e.g. coaching our speakers). So, when Gimbrère organises its own night about ‘pitching ideas’, we are first in line to join in! All pitches were evaluated by a 3-headed Dragon’s Den-jury of Jaap Korteweg (De Vegetarische Slager), Tjaard Gimbrère (owner) and Marco Sprenkels (Starterslift).

Our Jessica Voets had her pitch about the possibilities of TEDxBreda as a partner in the city. Lots of fantastic sponsors with whom we have shared values have found their way to us and give their support for our main event, where we expect approximately 400 people. But for that ‘little extra touch’ that makes such an event memorably special, we could still use some extra partners.

Jessica made a powerful and convincing outline of our TEDxBreda profile, because the 3-headed jury as well as the audience were very enthousiastic. Ofcourse this shouldn’t come as a surprise, because as an organisation that claims to ‘spread ideas’ we have a reputation to stand for!

If you want to join in on another Gimbrère ‘Pitching on stage’-night, just make sure to check the calender of Gimbrère regularly here: www.gimbrere.nl/het-gimbrere-theater.
